Through the Archival Photofiles database, the University of Chicago Library is providing information from its records regarding the photographer or other persons associated with each image. This information is provided as a service to aid patrons in determining the appropriate use of an item, but that determination ultimately rests with the patron. Although the University of Chicago Library is unaware of any copyright in the photographs other than its own, it appreciates hearing from anyone who may have additional information about any of the images in the collection.
