II: Buildings and Grounds
Robert J. Moon, assistant professor at the University of Chicago, demonstrates the revolutionary process, which he developed, of televising x-rays. The device, a dominant feature of the university's new research center, magnifies the brightness of x-rays a hundred times. It is expected to serve as a quick method of detecting cancer and other diseases of the abdomen.
